"It seems like it's beyond the monitor and you can actually touch it. Extremely cool to look at and really, truly brings 3D games to life. Overall this product is simply incredible. You really have to experience it for yourself. It's simply outstanding how real it makes the images. Without a doubt, this is a Kickass Product!"

"One Sierra Hotel

"The glasses made the cockpit view look
great. Panning around the outside views looked best when I could see my
plane in relation to the rest of the aircraft in the formation. The feeling
of depth enhanced the visuals by a factor of ten. When I rolled in on my
ground targets, I found that my aiming of rockets and bombs was actually a
lot better in 3D than in 2D. The clouds, explosions and smoke effects were
voluminous and much more exciting in 3D even with the graphics sliders
turned way down to setting 1 or 2."

"It's hard to describe in words how a 3D effect is so much
better than the 2d version...From the remarkable depth of view that puts the
hills away in the distance, the close up action that sticks an M4 right up
your nose, to the 3D features on the characters faces - it's nothing short
of remarkable. These glasses are now the best gadget in my house, no doubt
about it. "

"If
there was a religion dedicated to skepticism, UGO would be its savior. Any
product that comes through the door is first looked upon with scorn, then
hatred, then curiosity, and then some more scorn for good measure. The idea
is that we don't build anything up undeservedly, and we think we do a pretty
good job at it. So when these 3D goggles arrived from eDimensional, we
thought back to the days of Virtual Boy and those cheapo X-Ray specs, and
gave an intentionally audible sigh. It wasn't until we actually tried the
suckers out that we saw how much these E-D glasses kick the ass of not only
those crappy gimmicks of days past, but also of any other 3D goggle device
on the market....This was truly heaven;
everything felt a little more real, making our actions more intuitive
because we felt faithfully in the game."

"The
eDimensional Wireless E-D Glasses represent a unique opportunity for gamers
to experience their favorite releases in relatively true 3D as never before.
With some surprising visuals that even got my hardcore game head bobbing and
weaving, moderately good software backed by solid driver support, and a
wire-free design to accommodate active players, there's a lot to be gained
by gaming with the E-D Wireless Glasses. Their light weight and adjustable
design were well thought out, and they proved to be quite comfortable even
after long sessions." |

It is really difficult to describe the sensation. It is very unique and definitely something you have to try for yourself. I would have easily paid double for the experience that they provide.
"Conclusion: Highly recommended product for the flight simulator
enthusiast." |

"Virtual
reality has been a long time coming. For decades programmers have been
trying to cobble together some kind of groovy googles that vividly immerse a
player in an alternate world. Unfortunately, most of these inventions have
left gamers with little more than stiff necks and sore eyes. Not so for
eDimensional's E-D 3D Glasses...The glasses, light as Ray-Bans and
remarkably easy on the eyes, are simply enough to hook up. Through these
lenses the games-particularly FPS-burst to life with a convincing 'you are
there' feeling!" |

"We
recently received a pair of eDimensional's
E-D 3D Glasses to take for a test drive. After trying
this product on several MMORPG's (and a few non-MMORPG titles), I have to
admit - I am totally blown away. Initially I was very skeptical of a 3D
system that would use my existing monitor to create 3D effects...but that
was soon dissolved by the amazing performance of this product."
"After spending countless hours using the
glasses on these various titles, I was totally amazed at the difference it
makes in most games."

"The opening screen of the game
has your car rotating around the main menu, and I honestly had to pass my
hand in front of it to see what kind of depth perception I still hadI
couldn’t believe my eyes."
"That’s when the importance of “feeling” a racetrack really became
apparent. You can actually see the small elevation changes in a track, or
the billboards passing by the sides. Don’t even get me started on the other
cars, the effect has to be seen to be believed. Finding braking points was
no longer a matter of watching for a tiny sign on the side of the road, but
“seeing” the corner approaching. It’s hard to explain, but it made driving
more like driving and less like turning a PC game wheel on my computer desk.
At Melbourne, my average lap time was in the high 1:30’s without the
glasses. This is where they impressed me the most. With my same setup, same
car, and same line, with simply better feel of the track, I turned a 1:31
within 5 laps. That was by far and away my best lap there, so I continued to
test it at other tracks. Same result. I was 3 to 5 seconds quicker per lap
at every track I tested on! Needless to say, if you’re into
racing, you simply MUST check these things out."

"Finally, the days of games with unchanging
environments, flat worlds, are behind us. No longer will gamers suffer from
flat games! Instead, we will revel at the sight of out-of-screen worlds,
populated by dogs that jump out of the screen at you, bullet cases that fly
over your shoulder.... And how, you may ask, are we able to change the face
of home gaming? The answer lies in the power of eDimensionals E-D Glasses."
"I was simply amazed when I got SoF2 to run, the
shotgun seems like it is seated in your shoulder, the empty cases fly over
your left shoulder. Enemies leaning around the corner really stand out,
snipers hidden in a building are actually easier to spot. The quality of the
game seemed to have been improved, not just the eye-candy but the way the
game played. It seemed like you were involved in the action."
"It was an experience which all FPS gamers
need to feel. It was simply awesome."
"The glasses are something you wouldn't stop
using after you start. The difference they make to gaming is amazing."

"If you think Morrowind
is realistic looking now, wait until you have seen it with the 3D glasses.
It appears as if you could actually touch the roughness of the trees, run
your hand through the cool water, and even that big monster coming at you is
scarier than you could imagine."
"Ghost Recon comes alive
with the eDimensional glasses. The characters become amazingly real, as if
you could reach out and touch them, and the way their eyes actually blink
and move around makes it even more spine tingling."
"I am truly amazed at not only the
quality of the glasses, but the 3D virtual world they have created on my
monitor. Gaming has never looked so good. I recommend the wireless over
wired, due to the fact that they are so comfortable to wear that you might
get out of your chair with them still on and get yanked back down."

"Every now and then a technology
comes along and it sounds, well, "gimmicky". Then you try it. Most of the
times it turns out to BE gimmicky like you expected. But when it works, and
works well, you feel like you've GOT to tell everyone else about it so they
don't miss out thinking that it's just another gimmick. Here is our venture
into a realm that has been tried before and never seemed to be just quite
right in the past. The guys at eDimensional have finally gotten 3D for games
right, dead on the money."
"If Dungeon Siege is sweet sweet
eye candy, then Dungeon Siege in eDimensional 3D can be called eyeCRACK...These
glasses really do add a whole new dimension to your gaming experience."

"Overall, I have
never felt so immersed and "part" of the game that I've been playing before
wearing these glasses. Force feedback effects and complete surround sound
don't even come close to the experience these glasses offer."
"I don't think that I will be able to go back to
playing games without these glasses in the future, simply because the sense
of "being there" is lost without them."
"I highly recommend that you get yourselves a
pair of these just to experience the unparalled immersion that they give in
your favourite games, and I am confident that you would never want to go
back to gaming without them."

FS2002 is the
type of sim these things are MADE for. The panels and the view out the
cockpit is stunning. Depth perception is just incredible and you really have
a tough time believing you are looking at a flat monitor. External views
will take your breath away. Between the 3D effect and the enhanced effect of
lighting through the polarization, you can actually get visuals that look
better than real life. You know the types of photographs that are just
amazingly perfect? You can get that with ease.
Nothing
compared to Operation Flashpoint or Rogue Spear, especially in heavy
foliage. The depth perception, the feel, the immersion was unparalleled. I
have tried, and have hanging around here still, several different 3D
glasses. I started swapping things around to be sure I was not just
forgetting what the older ones looked like. Nope, nothing I have ever
tried, short of units in specialty shops for thousands of dollars a pair,
can even come close to these. And even those spendy ones would get a pretty
decent run against these. I am not sure I can play these games anymore
without these glasses on. It took a few minutes to dial in the best settings
for me, but once I did, I was hooked. Identification of targets near bushes
seems more realistic and shooting accuracy increased as well. And trust me,
in FPS games I need all the help I can get! Unfortunately my daughters
accuracy increased too, and she DOES NOT NEED THE HELP! Immersion and
just plain AWE factor is huge.

"My natural instincts kicked in
and I started dodging the laser shots as they appeared to be coming out of
the screen and right for me. I wasted the first storm trooper and then
decided to entertain myself by pulling the second one. Sure enough, Force
Pull managed to throw the storm trooper right in my direction. Out came the
light saber, and his three-dimensional body parts went in multiple
directions." |

6 Drool drops out of 5!! About the only word people have that see this in
action, along with buckets of drool oozing from their mouths, is "WOW!" We here
at Gamers Depot, were floored as we saw games like Quake3 literally jump out of
the monitor at us! ...we must give it a 6 Drool-Drop award, which is over the 5
drop limit! Need I say anymore?
