Function
CyberStick uses an advanced
solid-state sensor that works with
the tilting motion of your hand in
mid-air! Lift CyberStick from its
base and become freed from your
desktop for an exciting Virtual
Reality experience.
The exclusive one hand design
provides superior control for 3D
Shooter/Action/Adventure games, as
well as flying, driving and
simulation games. The combination
of functionality and ease-of-use
make CyberStick the one controller
to use for all joystick compatible
PC games and applications.

Design
In fact, the Cyberstick is
designed so that the core
stick can be fully
controlled by a single
hand. The implementation
is symmetrical, and as a
result is equally
accessible by right and
left-handers alike. The
trigger is wide, solid and
curved to accept the index
finger snugly.
On the opposite side of
the stick are the primary
control buttons and the
throttle. The force used
to activate those top
controls offsets the
pressure of the trigger
finger and provides an
excellent counter-balance
that keeps the control
stick steady in the hand.
Even the POV / Hat switch
is designed with balance
in mind -- it is made of a
soft but firm rubber that
allows for strong
manipulation by the thumb
without generating
fatigue. |
The stylish base of the Cyberstick
is heavy with rubber grip pads on
the bottom. A rubber boot at the
neck of the base accepts the core
stick should the user desire. The
stick has an opening on the bottom
that fits snugly over the neck so
that the entire ensemble can be
used as a conventional joystick.
The joystick cable is attached to
the bottom of the core stick with
a protective rubber enclosure that
prevents wear on the cord. The
long cable ends in a standard USB
connector. Construction overall is
top notch, with high-quality,
strong, translucent plastic.
Setup
is Easy!
When the joystick is
plugged into the game port
on the PC, LED lights
inside the controller will
light up to indicate that
it is properly connected
and receiving a signal.
Once this is accomplished,
all one must do is go to
the control panel and add
a custom joystick. The
Cyberstick is a four
button, four axis joystick
that also has a POV / Hat
switch on the top.
Once these options are
chosen, the user then
calibrates and tests the
stick. It is then ready
for use. Due to the stick
being a standard
controller, most Windows
games are able to support
it right away with no
custom applications or
additional drivers. |
