Voice
Buddy takes the load off flight deck chores.
You can
do most of the flight with voice commands. You can
even control pitch, yaw and roll. Most pilots who
fly with voice control prefer to actually fly the
airplane using yoke or stick, throttle and rudder
pedals while they assign Voice Buddy the tasks of
handling the distracting keyboard commands. Voice
commands are especially useful for trimming the
aircraft because the trim wheels move in precise
increments each time you issue the voice command
such as “trim left bank” or “trim down”.

Buddy enables you to respond to the FS2002 and
FS2004 ATC calls from the list present in the ATC
window with voice commands (“Select 1, Select 2”,
etc.).
How Voice Buddy Interfaces
with ATC.
Voice
Buddy only controls FS2004/2002. It does not
interpret voice input from recorded messages or live
sound from voIP or WAV files. It only listens to the
sound of the pilot's voice and acts according to
his/her instructions. So, if FS2004/2002, add-on or
VATSIM ATC tells you to, "Turn right to heading 340.
Climb and maintain 12000". Or, "...squawk 129.3..."
You must reply and respond like any pilot would.
Voice Buddy gives you the ability to reply to
FS2004's pre-formatted ATC choices simply by
speaking the choice number as in "Select 1, select
2" etc.
