fly the airplane using yoke or stick, throttle and
rudder pedals while they assign Voice Buddy the

Voice Buddy
Interactive Trainer (VBIT) helps make you a better
combat pilot
The Voice Buddy Interactive Trainer (VBIT) is your
virtual aerobatic and aerial combat maneuvers (ACM)
flight instructor. It's like having an angel on your
shoulder when the going gets tough and the lead
starts flying in your direction. Ever wanted to fly
a perfect Rolling Scissors? Not quite clear on how
to go vertical to shake an attacker. Have a hankerin'
to fly the ultimate hotdog maneuver known as a
Lumcevak (Lunchbox)? Just tell Voice Buddy to,
"Teach me..." and your VBIT flight instructor will
walk you through any procedure step-by-step while
you fly it in real time. This is a feature you just
have to see for yourself to realize how truly
awesome it really is.
Asynchronous Command, Control, Response (ACCR) gives
you an edge in combat as you easily multitask
Voice Buddy can listen, act and respond, all at the
same time. This is called Asynchronous Command
Control Response (ACCR) and is a very useful feature
when the aerial combat action gets fast and furious.
You can issue a string of commands and Voice Buddy
will act faster than it talks. It will also give you
verbal feedback on each command but the command may
be executed prior to hearing the feedback. This
feature can give you the edge in a furious furball.
Keep your hands on the flight controls and issue
voice commands and lighting speed so you can survive
to fight another day.
Voice
Buddy is Fully Compatible With Most VOIP Clients
Also known as Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP),
clients such as Ventrilo, Roger Wilco, Team Speak,
Game Voice and Advanced Voice Client enable you to
talk to other people while flying multiplayer
combat missions over the Internet. If you or your
combat squadron uses one of the VOIP applications to
talk to other pilots, you can use Voice Buddy and
the VOIP client either simultaneously with both
applications running under voice control; or by
controlling either one, or both, using Push-To-Talk
(PTT) and Push-To-Mute (PTM) buttons. You can also
control Voice Buddy with just voice commands while
the VOIP client is in voice activated mode.
